TRAINING SESSIONS IN SICILY: THE LAST TWO APPOINTMENTS BEFORE SUMMER HOLIDAYS

30 June and 1 July 2010: EL.MO. training sessions continue in Sicily.

As planned, EL.MO. technical training sessions in Sicily continue representing very interesting opportunities for our Collaborators.
 
The two sessions will take place on 30th June at our dealer SISTI SRL premises in Gela and on 1st July at the elegant Hotel Relax in Siracusa with the collaboration of the EL.MO. dealer Angelo Siracusa.
 
 
 
 
 
 
The main topics of both sessions were:
 
• NET832 intrusion detection unit: configuration flexibility and application versatility… much more than a mere alarm system!
• The latest TP series cameras, with their global functions and installation options, and HD MegaPixel cameras.
• VDL and VG600 series video recorders
The topics cought participants’ attention and they took the opportunity to fire so many questions at EL.MO. technical trainer!
 
 
  
We wish to thank SISTI SRL staff and C.T.R. staff for their cooperation:  joint efforts bring great results!

BASSA TENSIONE: EL.MO. new distributor in Asti, Alessandria and province area.

On 30th June, with the collaboration of Bassa Tensione Snc, EL.MO. organized a meeting to present its global offer and the advantages of the synergy for security professionals working in Asti, Alessandria and province area.

Bassa Tensione Snc will be the new EL.MO. point of reference in Piemonte region and will ensure EL.MO. presence also in this national area.
 
 
 
 
 
The meeting saw the presentation of available product series, integrated solutions offered, and all the services and the assistance that EL.MO. offers to its collaborators and partners every day.
 
 
 
We really wish to thank Bassa Tension Snc staff for its cooperation, and especially Mr Angiletta: all the best in this new adventure!

WildWindTeam - CYCLING PASSION NEVER STOPS!

Cycling… the pleasure of fresh air, the hypnotic movement of wheels, the shifting of gears, the mutual cheering of team mates, the sudden turnings of road paths or natural paths that wind up through the woods… Cycling, no matter the season or the weather: with love, passion and cheerfulness. Always.
 
WildWindTeam is an amateur sport association that has always fostered the values that the mountain bike represents.
That is why EL.MO., who bears a close and sensitive relationship to sports, decided to promote and support WildWindTeam. And the commitment was soon rewarded: WildWindTeam was second best at Coppa Veneto MTB 2008; came first at 2009 edition and second again at 2010 edition…. No doubt the team will go on cycling and…. winning!

PADOVALANDO – OFF TO NORTH CAPE!


Padua, 26 May 2010
The extraordinary Padovalando – North Cape ride has officially started on 26th May: the great sport adventure will see Antonio Zambon and Francesco Franceschetto, cycling officers of the Padua City Police (Polizia Municipale di Padova), cycling through EU on their inseparable mountain bikes.


GOOD LUCK again to these bold men – we will wait their triumphant return!


Of course EL.MO. was there on the starting day and here for you a couple of pictures taken on the starting
ground in Prato della Valle.
We will be following all the stages of this extraordinary and exciting event!

PADOVALANDO – NORTH CAPE: RIDING THE CHALLENGE


4000 km in 35 days

Riding from PADUA to NORTH CAPE, through the heart of Europe on a BIKE to promote respect and love for nature and to meet local people and authorities who have been appreciating for years now this low‐cost mean of transport that respects nature and health.

This is one of the main reasons that have inspired the sport adventure of two cycling officers of the Padua City Police (Polizia Municipale di Padova) Antonio Zambon and Francesco Franceschetto, the leading men of the first national project to create a TEAM of MOUNTAIN‐BIKE CYCLING OFFICERS patrolling city areas thatcannot normally be reached by other means.

Cycling to ensure security and attention to the city territory, cycling to feel sound in mind and body, and to meet new people and authorities that welcomed and joined the same CYCLING POLICE project.

An interesting and very brave challenge that EL.MO. could not but promote and support, being, as it always is, extremely attentive to sport activities, environment and growth of the city around.

EL.MO. is definitely proud of having contributed to the realization of this unusual sport event, and congratulates the Padua City Police Force again, and particularly the Officers Zambon and Franceschetto who will surely complete their hard task with success!

Technical refresher workshop, 15-16 April 2010
Constant updating is the essence of professionalism and the condition for competence; sure of these facts, we have recently held an interesting refresher workshop with a group of Sicilian installers that have long been collaborating with EL.MO. and Elcom Srl - EL.MO. distributor in Messina and province.
The workshop has seen the presentation of the new intrusion detection unit, NET9832, and of the advanced features – configuration flexibility, communication freedom and application versatility – that make the new unit much more than a mere alarm system.
Along with the new intrusion unit, also control modules and dual technology detectors (DT2000 e DT3000) were presented to the interested audience.
Training and refreshing sessions were alternated with practical tests: VDL series DVRs configuration in a local network and their access from a remote site, and MegaPixel, HD and FullHD technology analysis.
 
The workshop has also benefited from lively discussions, new ideas and constructive suggestions.
Improvement is boosted also by the capacity of listening to collaborators, and that is the true “value added” of being “Part of a group”: to work in close contact with the company chosen as partner and with the area distributor.
Once more synergy has borne fruit and we really wish to thank EL.MO. Sicilian Agency, in the person of Mr Alessandro Bevacqua, and Elcom staff who, always working with enthusiasm and passion, succeeded in motivating its customers and made a true success of the workshop.
 

 

DOMUS PERSONA -TRIESTE, 15-18 April 2010

 

EL.MO. Spa in collaboration with Televita Spa, the long-standing partner for emergency alert devices, will be present at Domus Persona exhibition to be held in Trieste from 15th to 18th April 2010.

The event is organized by Ente Fiera Trieste and shows solutions to improve people’s quality of life.
EL.MO. will present all its video surveillance solutions studied for everyday life places: houses, offices, schools, and commercial and industrial buildings. Thanks to the reliability video surveillance systems offer, all places will become more comfortable and secure.

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE and INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEMS

On February 24th, EL.MO. organized the first 2010 technical meeting for installers in Morro D’Oro.
 
Thanks to the collaborative effort of Mr Andrea Anelli, EL.MO. area representative for Abruzzo and Molise regions, a large group of installers has took part to the event – partly EL.MO. clients already, but also professional technicians wishing to know more about EL.MO. unique global offer.
 
The participants showed great interest in the new VDL series video recorders of
 
 
 product family and the well-known NET series intrusion units with their accessories, as a confirmation of the importance of the technical meetings EL.MO. regularly organize.

NET832: TOMORROW’S CLASSIC
 
 
 
 
 
 
NET832 is a single-area, microprocessor-based intrusion detection unit with 8 zones expandable to 16 with SPLIT function. It supports and manages 16 additional zones using field concentrators (max 32 zones).
It has been designed for residential and commercial buildings, and for small, medium, and large system applications.
NET832 is extremely versatile as to installation and absolutely flexible as to configuration and management, and ensures an outstanding liberty of the communication mode.

 VDL, VD816 and VG600 series, THE NEW USER-FRIENDLY DVRs
 
 

EL.MO. VDL and VD816 series DVRs offer comprehensive and technologically advanced solutions for video recording systems. EL.MO. video recorders ensure high quality and high frame rate for recordings thanks to the H.264 and H.264/MJPEG compression algorithms they are equipped with. VDL and VD816 recorders are compact devices and are equipped with a considerable number of functions such as the possibility to manage IP (VD816) and analogue video sources, remote connections, and  the transmission of images over IP networks. They also provide special functions, both as a standard and with additional modules such as Network Attached Storages. Their fanless architecture ensures an almost noiseless operation and the lack of need for device maintenance.

EL.MO. e-Vision VG600 DVRs represent the state-of-the-art of digital technology for Embedded video recording systems. The digital video recorders ensures real time recordings at D1 resolution thanks to their powerful data processing capacity and to the three compression algorithms: H.264, MJPEG and MPEG-4. A lot of valuable goods which people care very much about are often far from their direct control for long periods of time. Consequently, the demand for truly effective remote protection devices and systems grows day by day.

Villeggio offers excellent standard features and also, with a wide range of modular accessory components, increasing control capacity according with customers’ needs.

VINTP NTP Module
NTP module provides a virtual telephone line connection over the GSM network for connecting traditional telephone devices. It requires a GSM module installation and provides a traditional telephone line. Outgoing telephone calls are routed to the GSM module and incoming telephone calls are routed to the landline phone.
 
VIPSTN PSTN Module
PSTN modules provide a telephone line connection and are equipped with 33 Kbps modem for remote configuration. Features: voice alarm messages via telephone line, remote control via phone and mobile phone, remote audio listening, Contact ID alarm transmission.
 
VILAN Ethernet Module
The Ethernet module provides a 10/100 Ethernet connection and allows TCP/IP configuration and unit remote control. It is supplied with an integrated Web server application for remote control.
 
VIBLUE Bluetooth Module
Bluetooth module provides extra wireless connectivity. Configuration and remote control with Bluetooth devices.
