NET832: TOMORROW’S CLASSIC
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
NET832 is a single-area, microprocessor-based intrusion detection unit with 8 zones expandable to 16 with SPLIT function. It supports and manages 16 additional zones using field concentrators (max 32 zones).
It has been designed for residential and commercial buildings, and for small, medium, and large system applications.
NET832 is extremely versatile as to installation and absolutely flexible as to configuration and management, and ensures an outstanding liberty of the communication mode.

VDL, VD816 and VG600 series, THE NEW USER-FRIENDLY DVRs
**EL.MO. VDL and VD816 series DVRs offer comprehensive and technologically advanced solutions for video recording systems. EL.MO. video recorders ensure high quality and high frame rate for recordings thanks to the H.264 and H.264/MJPEG compression algorithms they are equipped with. VDL and VD816 recorders are compact devices and are equipped with a considerable number of functions such as the possibility to manage IP (VD816) and analogue video sources, remote connections, and  the transmission of images over IP networks. They also provide special functions, both as a standard and with additional modules such as Network Attached Storages. Their fanless architecture ensures an almost noiseless operation and the lack of need for device maintenance.
 
**EL.MO. e-Vision VG600 DVRs represent the state-of-the-art of digital technology for Embedded video recording systems. The digital video recorders ensures real time recordings at D1 resolution thanks to their powerful data processing capacity and to the three compression algorithms: H.264, MJPEG and MPEG-4. Many excellent qualities, such as Embedded architecture, dedicated hardware components for video surveillance applications, wide operating temperature range, and optimal storage management are expertly combined with the standard performances of a PC-based architecture: easy upgrade of the calculation capacity and excellent management of peripherals. e-Vision VG600 DVRs stand out for their user-friendly interface that ensures easy configuration and versatile use.
The possibility to record and manage IP/Megapixel and analogue video sources makes the DVRs suitable for a great variety of installation solutions. The number of application environments for e-Vision solutions increases constantly, both in type and dimensions, growing virtually unlimited: sport facilities, public transport, banks, large-scale retail trade centres, hotels, houses, company buildings, and city centres can be accessed in real time, everywhere and always.

Villeggio consists of a base device and several plug-in expansion modules that can be added at any time to increase the functionality of the base device.
 
VIPOWER Power supply module
The module allows Villeggio to be powered with AC 100V to 240V sources and is installable inside Villeggio plastic box . It is a supervised intelligent module with built-in MCU and is equipped with 12V, 2100mAh NiMh battery (both standard type and long-life type can be supplied).  External siren recharge output.
 
 
VINTP NTP Module
NTP module provides a virtual telephone line connection over the GSM network for connecting traditional telephone devices. It requires a GSM module installation and provides a traditional telephone line. Outgoing telephone calls are routed to the GSM module and incoming telephone calls are routed to the landline phone.
 
VIPSTN PSTN Module
PSTN modules provide a telephone line connection and are equipped with 33 Kbps modem for remote configuration. Features: voice alarm messages via telephone line, remote control via phone and mobile phone, remote audio listening, Contact ID alarm transmission.
 
VILAN Ethernet Module
The Ethernet module provides a 10/100 Ethernet connection and allows TCP/IP configuration and unit remote control. It is supplied with an integrated Web server application for remote control.
 
VIBLUE Bluetooth Module
Bluetooth module provides extra wireless connectivity. Configuration and remote control with Bluetooth devices.
 
VIGSMI and VIGSME GSM Modules
GSM modules provide a GSM in/out connection. Features: Quad-band GSM/GPRS module with internal or external antenna, SMS and voice alarm messages, remote control via phone and mobile phone, remote audio listening, Contact ID alarm transmission.
 
VIGPSI and VIGPSE GPS Modules
GPS modules enables Villeggio system to use the positioning function – GSM module required – and they feature internal or external antenna. Positioning information are sent via GSM/GPRS module.

INTRUSION DETECTION AND VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS

 
On April 15th, EL.MO. S.p.A. organized a technical refresher course in collaboration with its local partner Elcom Srl.
 
  
EL.MO. course aimed to illustrate in detail new NET intrusion detection units and VD series DVRs.
 
 
 
About...
 
 NET intrusion detection units are fully scalable systems and expandable thanks to a wide range of accessories; they represent the ideal solution for industrial, commercial, residential solutions and offices and ensure flexibility as to installation, configuration, management and communication.
 
 New VD series DVRs are versatile devices that allow to built simple but effective video surveillance systems thanks to an advanced integrated operating system and MPEG-4/MJPEG compression algorithms.
 
 
The participants were really enthusiastic about the seminar, thus acknowledging once more the importance of training and refresher courses to operate in the security field as competent professionals.
  
 
The success of the seminar confirms the commitment EL.MO. puts daily into the security field with training sessions, refresher courses and technical assistance that here have been made possible thanks to the close collaboration with Elcom Srl and A.B. Rappresentanze, EL.MO. agency for Sicily.

OUR GOAL: A SUCCESSFUL STRATEGY!

It is with this attitude that El.Mo. faces market challenges, the development of technology and current market trends daily.
 
And this very attitude also inspired the one-day refresher seminar focused on domotic systems and surveillance over IP organized on 1st April by El.Mo. S.p.A. and MEC System, agency and distribution centre in the Lombardia region. The seminar was organized for a large group of installers, system designers and integrators, and the audience proved really interested and willing to “keep up with modern technology”, fully aware of the importance of professional constant growth.
 
 
 
HOME MANAGER
The aim of the seminar was to show in detail El.Mo. domotic system and building management proposal, explaining also application solutions.
 
 
El.Mo. domotics consists of Home Manager, a centralized management system for home automation that ensures liveability, comfort, and security, qualities increasingly required.
The idea of El.Mo. domotics clearly derives from the main target of the company, that is, to provide security before everything else!
This is the reason for El.Mo. design approach developed in view of making Home Manager integrable with ETR security systems and, in so doing, making intrusion security systems part of a comprehensive home automated system.
 
 
VIDEO SURVEILLANCE OVER IP SOLUTIONS: E-VISION, networked video surveillance.
El.Mo. state-of-the-art Megapixel IP solutions: video cameras and management software applications for secure and useful video surveillance systems, fulfilling the requirements of the most demanding customers.
 
El.Mo. offer consists of e -Vision solutions, the result of the successful meeting between IP technology and the increasing market’s surveillance requirements.

DATA SEARCH AND EXPORT: Advanced tools for images search: Graphical Activity Search, by Motion, by date&time, by alarm event. Video and images export formats: JPEG, GIF, TIFF, PNG, BMP and WMV files.
 
 
SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC: The application provides advanced log files for system diagnostics: system events, users actions, errors, alarms, watchdog events. Performance display: CPU, memory, network, and Hard Disk. Display of quantity of data recorded per camera and of hard disk space used.
 
ALARM EVENTS: Alarm events will be triggered by: no camera signal, motion / no motion, alarm input, high/low audio level. Upon alarm event, one or more of the following actions can be triggered: audio and/or video recording, alarm output activation, video display to analogue monitor, dome camera preset positions, camera sequence, activate motion detection mask, send email. Pre-, post-alarm event recording adjustable (5 to 60 mins).
 
SECURITY AND AUTHENTICATION: Software access is password-, and username-protected. Users’ authorizations are controlled by detailed user profiles (1 to 5 profiles per user). 3 user levels available: User, User with Monitoring Authorization, Administrator. Video security ensured by Watermarking. Data can be stored to different recording units to avoid loosing data in case of HDDs failure. Watchdog software with notification via email.
