ELDOME – NEW e-VISION SERIES SPEED DOME CAMERAS |
 The new e-Vision Eldome cameras widen the range of El.Mo. e-Vision series Speed Dome Cameras: 16 new advanced versions able to ensure the most professional performance. The new cameras are available in 4 , some even 6, versions that may differ for interface (analogue version, IP-based, Pelco Coaxitron and Bosch Biphase) and functions, thereby totalling up to 68 camera models currently present in the range of Eldome e-Vision Series to ensure effective and high-quality solutions for all application requirements.
The Eldome e-Vision series includes new indoor/outdoor models, available in various versions – analogue, IP based, Pelco Coaxitron, Bosch Biphase – whosesuperior technical quality ensures excellent operating performance.
The new e-Vision cameras provide up to 400°/sec preset speed, and their PAN and TILT range allows view above the horizon line. In addition to the excellent mechanical performance, cameras are also equipped with high sensitive lenses that ensure up to 432x zoom and 540 TV line resolution.
The Eldome e-Vision series allows to realize complete solutions for all new video surveillance systems; they can also be easily integrated with existing systems thanks to the considerable number of built-in serial protocols and interfaces available (IP, Pelco Coaxitron and Bosch Biphase).
Advanced Performance: e-Vision Eldome cameras provide special functions that users can customize according to their video surveillance needs, such as, for example, Schedule and Home functions that let speed dome cameras to operate automatically thereby dramatically reducing the need for operators presence. The cameras are also equipped with the Auto-Calibration function that ensures cameras hold their correct operating position if their head is moved either intentionally or by mistake.
Superior Image Quality:new Eldome cameras feature an advanced image processing system able to eliminate environmental noise signals and provide superior image quality. DH801PL and DH701PL series are especially equipped with an electronic image stabilizer that provides sharp images by eliminating environmental disturbances. Eldome cameras ensure an excellent operation also in low light conditions: Wide Dynamic Range function enables cameras to capture clear and detailed images in situations where brighter areas could affect the sharpness and brightness of darker areas; and True Day&Night and Digital Slow Shutter functions have been especially designed to ensure detailed images in low light conditions thus making e-Vision Eldome cameras the ideal solution for 24H surveillance systems.
System Compatibility: the new speed dome cameras support the main serial communication protocols: Pelco D, Pelco P, Philips, AD-422, VCL, JVC, Kalatel, etc. The considerable number of available protocols and the large amount of camera versions with different interfaces (IP, Biphase, Coaxitron) allow to integrate e-Vision Eldome cameras in existing systems easily.
Airports, railway stations, ports: Wide areas can be video surveilled – and detailed images captured – in a very easy way using e-Vision Eldome cameras featuring 36x optical lens and up to 540 TV lines resolution. Also, the compatibility of the speed dome cameras with alarm systems makes them the most suitable tool for sensitive areas, such as airports, railway stations and ports.
City video surveillance: the e-Vision Eldome series represents the ideal solution for city video surveillance applications requiring, as fundamental elements, the capacity to control wide areas, excellent installation flexibility and complete remote management. e-Vision Eldome cameras allow operators to work on cruise paths and image details using high zoom ratios; and the Schedule function makes very easy to configure speed dome cameras to perform, within a set time interval, a certain number of functions, such as Sequence and Auto-Pan, to control only sensitive areas or wider parts of buildings and/or areas. Digital Image Flip: allows to flip images automatically using digital data processing, while tracking an object passing through under the dome camera field of view. It enables users to keep tracking objects seamlessly with almost no delays or interruptions as it could occur with mechanical flip mode.
Auto Calibration:e-Vision Eldome cameras are equipped with the auto-calibration function. When cameras are moved, either intentionally or by mistake, this function enables them to auto-calibrate their position, both vertically and horizontally, according to a defined point, keeping the correct operating mode all through the operation.
Image Inverse:enables Eldome speed dome cameras to invert images captured, both horizontally and vertically, thereby allowing to install cameras upside down and making them suitable for use in several special applications, such as videoconferences.
Motion Detection: Speed Dome Cameras can not only provide high quality images, they can also play an active role in video surveillance systems thanks to the Motion Detection function they are equipped with. The cameras are able to recognize when an image changes because of motion or intrusion detection within their field of view. When cameras detect such movements, their outputs activate automatically and can communicate with external systems, such as burglar alarm systems.
Home Function:Eldomee-Vision cameras can be set to perform some functions automatically after a period of idle time: Preset, Sequence, Auto-Pan, and Cruise functions. The idle time interval can be user-defined and when it elapses, such functions will ensure a constant and accurate monitoring of the areas to be controlled.
Schedule Function: the possibility to configure dome cameras operating mode enables operators to schedule the activation of some functions, such as Preset, Sequence, Auto-Pan, and Cruise, at specified times according to systems requirements.
Electronic Image Stabilizer:the Image Stabilizer Function enables DH801PL and DH701PL series Speed Dome Cameras to capture sharp images that would otherwise be blurred due to vibrations. The built-in stabilizerfilters out the vibrations of up to 80% movement at 10Hz caused by wind and other environment conditions.
Privacy Mask Function:this innovative function ensures the possibility to define, select and hide specific areas of images taken by the cameras. This function is definitely useful, and ideal, when privacy protection is advisable or required.
Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) Function: Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) function is an excellent tool in situations where brighter areas could affect the sharpness and brightness of darker areas. When recording images, exposure time will be different according to the illumination of the various areas of a single image; the image data will then be processed and combined digitally to produce well-illuminated images.
True Day/Night Function: The True Day&Night function with IR cut filter ensures clear images in all light conditions. CCD IR cut filter can be removed by operators either manually or it can be set to switch to ON (Colour mode) and OFF (B/W mode with low light) positions automatically according to light conditions.
Multi-language OSD Menu: Eldomee-Vision cameras can be configured easily thanks to an intuitive multi-language OSD menu, and passwords can be set to access the OSD menu.
Firmware Upgrade: cameras firmware can be upgraded quickly and easily using the connectors the cameras have been equipped with. Such connectors are not often found on cameras and place Eldomee-Visioncameras among the most complete products today available on the market.
Freeze Preset: this is an original and quite useful function that allows to remove images blur effect caused by the camera when it moves between two preset points. The moving path (between preset points) will not be displayed: it will be removed as a useless part of recordings and will not occupy DVRs HDD space.

THE NEW FIRMWARE FOR e-VISION SERIES DVRS |
El.Mo. presents the new firmware for e-Vision® series DVRs.
The new firmware allows to display, without additional software applications, the cameras connected to e-Vision® DVRs directly on the touchscreen of the Apple iPhones using Safari browser with which the devices are already equipped.

EL.MO. is glad to inform that ETREIB interface board is now available. It allows to interface ETR series control units with EIB bus-based electrical systems.
 ETREIB consists of a piece of hardware, the electronic board representing the physical interface, and a software application that allows to configure the interface board.
ETREIB board transmits data from control units to EIB field systems, and vice versa, using the configuration connector or also in direct connection.
It is equipped with an EIB standard physical interface.
The use of EIB interface board requires a special configuration of the EIB-based system: operators shall setup address groups to which control unit devices have to be connected.
The software application does not use labels: it only lists the source items numerically.
⇒ Using the application operators can set ETREIB to perform the following functions:
- Send EIB commands, that is Group Address (ex. 1/2/1), over a bus following change of status of control unit zones, outputs and sectors.
- Send EIB commands, that is Group Address (ex. 1/2/1), over a bus upon the occurrence of special events (ex. General Alarm Event)
- Send EIB commands, that is Group Address (ex. 1/2/1), over a bus combining alarm condition of zone groups (up to 4 per group)
- Receive commands over bus: sectors arm/disarm, outputs activation/deactivation, zones enable/disable.
ETREIB interface board is wired:
- To the alarm control unit via serial cable
- To the EIB bus
ETREIB interface board features two operating modes:
- Configuration mode
- Standard operating mode
In Configuration Mode the interface is connected to the PC via serial cable and the application allows to configure board parameters.
Note: Configuration Mode does not require the board to be connected to EIB bus.

In Standard Operating Mode, the interface is connected to the control unit and to the EIB bus and sends and receives commands over bus according to its configuration.

Virtas is an advanced software application to display a virtual intrusion keypad (operating like NIRVA keypad) on a PC equipped with Windows O.S. and touch screen display.
The software application allows to control, manage and configure all ETR series units directly from a PC monitor. It is based on ActiveX technology and is dedicated to system integrators. To operate correctly, Virtas requires an USB/RS485 converter to connect the PC to the serial bus of EL.MO. ETR series intrusion units.

NEW ANALOGUE-ADDRESSABLE FIRE DETECTION MODULES |
 EL.MO. everyday research and development activity has led to the design of new analogue-addressable modules for FX series fire panels.
All modules feature a plastic housing whose dimensions have been dramatically reduced, also suitable for installation on to flush-mount boxes (503 type) and featuring side clips for easy opening and closing.
The new modules allow to control electro-magnetic retainers, optical-acoustic fire alarm devices and luminous alarm panels.
They can also be configured to trigger different functions and to control and manage doors and fire barriers.

Software developed to monitor VD series DVRs through a single mobile device. The user can view live images, playback videos and manage PTZ controls of speed dome cameras via Smart Phones or PDAs.
This software has been optimized for the use with the Ethernet: it minimizes possible transmission delays that cause loss of data and images.
