ULTRABUS

ULTRABUS is the EL.MO. product line including addressable devices on RS485 serial bus that change the approach to the setting-up of intrusion detection systems. These cutting-edge devices operating on ULTRABUS can be directly connected to the serial bus, as well as managed and programmed via software from a local or remote station. This way, a double result is achieved: a heavy reduction in the number of devices on the field (with consequent saving in terms of wiring and concentrators) compared to the classic devices and the opportunity to implement advanced settings. The new devices also feature smart functions: the result is a greatly improved technical profile that brings high added value to the users.

What is new about this technology?

		SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION The ULTRABUS devices can be completely set up via BROWSERONE software, even from a remote PC via LAN/WAN, in order to make the installation and  maintenance easier. It is possible to set several parameters to finely calibrate the detectors in order to adapt them to their environmental conditions. Sirens, power supply units and security fog systems can also be customized through several functions.
		COSTS SAVING Thanks to the direct installation of the devices on ULTRABUS, concentrators are no more necessary. Wiring is highly reduced as well, resulting in shorter installation times and reduced costs.
		REMOTE FIRMWARE UPDATE ULTRABUS allows the remote firmware update of all system devices.
		LONG RANGE AND FLEXIBILITY The RPX485 repeater is an active part of the ULTRABUS systems. It repeats, regenerates and isolates the serial bus. In addition, it allows to create star configurations. By using 2 RPX485 repeaters, it is possible to extend the total length up to 3 Km and to build up large systems with a single serial bus.
		SMART FUNCTIONS The ULTRABUS detectors can be set up via software, also using advanced functions: the live environmental noise detection, the waveform REC function, operative range, thresholds and sensitivity. For LEDA485 series sirens, you can customize the 2 multi-function LEDs and the opticalacoustic signaling. Moreover, you can control the board and battery status, the tank level and see the event log of the NEBULA security fog system. • CONTROL UNITS: EL.MO. provides a wide range of control units that take advantage of the new ULTRABUS: control units suitable for industry (TITANIA and ETR series), control units addressed to the commercial sector (PREGIO series), and control units for residential use (such as VIDOMO2K).

• DETECTORS: The ULTRABUS system finds his finest expression in detectors. Our product range include indoor or outdoor detectors, equipped with highly advanced functions. Most of their parameters (operative range, thresholds and sensitivity) can be completely set via remote software application.

• SIRENS: Besides detectors, EL.MO. introduces another highly customizable devices: the LEDA485 sirens. Indeed, users can customize and program the optical and acoustic signals according to their needs by using the BROWSERONE software.

• SECURITY FOG SYSTEM: NEBULA is the EL.MO. security fog system. It can saturate the environment in less than 30 seconds. The fog persists for more than 60 minutes in the environment.

• CONTROL DEVICES: Keypads allow interaction with the control unit and programming. EL.MO. offers several solutions including touch screen, capacitive and traditional keypads, proximity readers and system status indicators.

• REPEATERS AND CONCENTRATORS: In order to improve the range and flexibility of the ULTRABUS system, EL.MO. offers RPX485, a repeater that repeats, regenerates and functionally isolates the serial line. Concentrators of the RIVER series with 2,4,8 wireless or wired inputs are available.
